I was under the impression that they would prevent movement more so than the OEM mounts...this is not the case?
I'm now considering an OEM motor, poly transmission mount combo...
I'm looking into a new set of engine mounts and was considering the polyurethane ones currently available. I'd appreciate any feedback from people who have used them, both good and bad. My main concern is how they transmit engine vibration to the car. All replies are appreciated.
If a spring truly does "sag", it is time for new springs, since it has physically deformed (yielded or cracked and yielded) and the springs are being used far too close to their maximum yield strength. There is no time-dependant "sagging" process which will happen from normal, "correct" (e.g...
IMG_2485.JPG shows pretty well what happened. External fatigue cracking from the toe of the weld, at the "bottom" (referencing the circumference) of the weld. This failure didn't happen due to restraint in the lateral direction, rather in the rotating direction of the bushing. Excessive...
I've recently been trying to diagnose the slop in my drivetrain. It is a little bit troubling since both my R154 and rear end have been rebuilt (less than 1000km ago) and my driveshaft centre bearing is new. I checked out the driveshaft u-joints and they have minimal torsional play as well. I...
I have the TR10 in my car...not the TR12, but I'll share my experiences anyway.

As a non-smoker (aside from a good cigar every so often), I don't have much of an interest in this, but I am curious...
How similar is it to a cig?
Does it vaporize just the nicotene or other chemicals (flavor, obviously)?
No, but I removed the sensor and added an aftermarket unit with no undesirable effects. I did notice that my car idled at 800 rpm, though that is likely a completely unrelated issue.

not your oil...
Agreed. I was happy to pay $135 for the harness which is made correctly. In reality, I probably would have paid more as it let me avoid hacking up my new engine harness (which at $400, was extremely cheap as well)
Once you have the tooling, I imagine putting the harness together is relatively...
