So far so good, I'm working on the air cleaner now- trying to make it suck in cool/cold air rather than pre-heated radiator air. When I was on the dyno I dropped 5deg intake temp and picked up 2hp by blocking some of the hot air with a plastic folder, so this should work much better. Also looking into a bigger intercooler to try and drop the IAT's some more. Then comes the big fuel system this winter/fall!

Steve have you seen these new Aeromotive stealth 340 pumps?

With a boost a pump at 17.59 volts aeromotive flowed one at 433LPH with 60psi of pressure

lol, looks just like a walbro...

Anyways, I just bought some 272's for the car and am startig to once again get fuel on the mind. 1350's from FIC and some -8 fuel lines should help.
Main issue would be seen above- which fuel pump to use!! Bosch 044, Fuellab prodigy, A1000, duel densos (with tank modification, obviously) So many options!

I also need to get un-lazy and get to un-seizing the suspension adjustments so the springs and shocks can go in! And to top it all off I'm looking for better rims. O what fun and terror these cars bring to life :D

Steve My view regarding the A1000 is that it is loud, otherwise very happy.

BTW, is anyone interested in a mid winter Supra owners meet? My garage is heated and big enough. If we have the right timing, we could install the new hoist I am ordering. Typically having a few pairs of extra hands are nice as it will be very heavy.

Getting a new fuel pump Steve? Your current one is a MKIV TT pump correct?

Dan - a meet would be fun stuff. No Supras all winter is getting to be quite annoying.

Yep, currently it has a mk4 TT denso pump in it right now, but I am unsure of how much more fuel it can provide. The pump dilemma is my main trouble area seeing a there are so many ways to go about it. I see three main options I can go with that are not super invasive/involved:
1- 2nd denso pump with more lines
2- A larger inline pump after the denso (o44, fuellab, a1000)
3- surge tank with a large pump feeding off of that. Just not sure quite yet.

Those aeromotive stealth pumps are physically the same size as a walbro so fitting two in should be easy enough man. Otherwise if I were to do it over I would run a magnafuel.

Enraged- I've ridden in walbro pump'd vehicles and was not a fan of the noise output of the walbro, plus their flow drops off pretty badly once FP gets higher. I'm planning on running this turbo up to 30-35psi, so high pressure performance is a must.

IJ- didn't you run dual bosch 044/040's (german ones)? Dual densos is not out of the question, but I would be welding a new fuel tank panel into the tank if I went that route- an oval one from a camry/tundra, etc for them to fit easily.

Sean- I would like to hear one of those stealth pumps in person to make a call on them- their flow pattern suggests a similar gear-rotor design to the walbros. Makes me nervous about noise levels.

They are fairly new (released in dec 2010) so your best bet would be a phone call to aero.

I had 2 non German pumps that died the first time on boost.... :nono:
(started howling badly ALL the time)

Returned them and got 2x Tsunami's ran them for a bit till I got sick of the noise then got the 2x Densos.

Do you have a part number from one of the Denso's by chance? This E-85 requires a bit more fuel and I'm all for overkill on the fuel supply.

Sweet, thanks Ian. I'm fairly sure I have one of those in the tank right now, so it might be the cheapest way to go... but the tank would need a new access panel to fit them both. Hmmm
