Rakkasan: What happened with the clutch exactly?

Also have those shocks showed up yet?
two bad pictures here
I'm not exactly certain how it happened, but I had trouble lining up the tranny to the motor too, and as I was trying to get the together, one of the pucks bent (the metal plate). After pulling apart to get a fresh start, Ideal noticed the damage. Lucky for me, it would have destroyed the flywheel within a few miles of the maiden voyage. It sucked to waste three days & $200+, but it could have been a lot worse.

The shocks still haven't found their way here, I'll have to drive the car to Georgia in 4 wheel drive. :biglaugh:

I am sorry to hear that about the shocks. More and more do i hate Canada Post. It just is crazy and to costly to ship via FedEx or UPS

Maybe it will show Monday, I hope

On another note. I just need to put the tranny back on the engine and i'll be ready to stick it in the car. I got the 2" Hole saw and that will be cut first thing tomorrow.

Then i will just need to hook up the Drive Shaft and all the hoses, lines and Harness. (My wires from Aaron should be here Tuesday) Add all my vital fluids. Do my compression test of the engine. Then i can give the thing its first start up :biglaugh:

LOL SH

well the tranny is on and the whole in the firewall cut. Not to sure how in going to get those wires to snake over there, but i'll figure it out.

I think i might be able to at least have the engine in tomorrow and pretty much everything hooked back up.

There is a connector next to the EA2 connector that i have no idea what it's for. I think its the IL2 connector. Problem is i dont seem to have a connector to conect to it?

CONGRATS BOB! I know thats got to be a good feeling. Happy for ya dude. By the way, I noticed that your engine hoist is at the side of the car not in front. Is that the way you took it in or was the hoist moved before you took that pic? Oh and by the way your car is a mess!!:biglaugh:

Thnx Man

Actually i installed it from the side. The is not enough room infront of the car for the hoist so eveything was done from the side of the car. It does make for some chalenges. I just realized today that the Piston on the hoist got to close to my fender. i put a few minor bumps in it :( plus it messed up more of my already messed up paint lol

I am hopeing that i will be able to try and start the car tomorrow.

If i can figure out how to Run The engine Harness over to the other side of the Cabin
