I would...you need to get that plug out too. Just for future reference, put nickle anti-seize on plug threads.

Alrighty round 2 tomorrow. Nickle anti-seize? Well I have PB blaster, and wd40 has been soaking for 2 days. I am not sure if the pb blaster is safe, but if it is I will give it a go.

Use the PB Blaster...better than WD-40 IMO.

Too late to use the anti-seize...you have to put it on the plug threads when you install them ;)

YESS!! Breaker bar let up. I thought eff it I'll just give it all I got and it came out clean!!!

I killed my battery earlier with accessory on so I got a overnight charger on it and tomorrow I will do another compression test. It will be a wet/wet test I believe since there is already oil in there from my previous wet tests.

yea thats how i learned at least in my engines rebuilding and performance class. used the inside "telescoping" to get the diameter of the cylinders and just used the outside ones to measure the inside mic for accuracy reasons. we also had a bore gauge, but only used it for a little bit not much practice time on that. but you can do just about anything with the 2 combines, measure the cam cap to head, or main caps to block, basically anything with a bore lol. then just use the outside mics to measure what went inside the bore and compare the differences and go to what your specs should be :)
there is a tool for just about anything just need to make sure you use the right ones :) way worth it in the end

so my cylinders are wet from yesterday's test and I'm wondering if I should hook everything back up and let it burn off before I start another compr test or what?

I ran my car for about 10 mins to burn off the oil used in the previous test, but I don't think it was all burned off.

Reason being my compression test I just did gave me numbers from what a wet test would be in my last results.

I held WOP this time and did everything right with car battery being jumped through the whole test at 13.60v

Results:
1)179,177,179
2)175,180,181
3)177,179,181
4)179,179,179
5)173,175,178
6)179,181,181

Well there's your difference in numbers!

Go for a run around the block then repeat breathing through a straw and with bricks tied to one leg and see which fills your lungs better ;)
