Last time:
- TB closed restricting air flow
- #5 plug in resisting the starter
- Battery discharging down from #1 to #6 test

This time:
- TB open providing full flow
- No resistance from plugs in other cylinders
- Constant voltage on starter from #1 to #6 test

Hmmmm...what do you think?

Well there's your difference in numbers!

Go for a run around the block then repeat breathing through a straw and with bricks tied to one leg and see which fills your lungs better ;)

I think I have one free pass card somewhere for just this sort of event... but I totally get it now! :biglaugh:

I come from a land down under
I'm thinking with those sort of compression numbers I'd pull the engine leave it assembled drop the pan inspect the bearings to make 100% sure they're an issue before going any further.

Don't take this the wrong way but you have NFI what you're talking about and until you actually confirm the bottom end is in fact bad you're just talking out of your ass.

dont take my advice, but from what i heard people have used there MHG's over and over, the most i heard was 5 times so far. so i guess its possible, but if i remember right you have to re-coat the sealant portion of it. as for the ARP's i dont know why you wouldnt be able to

to use the gasket you have to drill all the rivets out of it, keep each layer in th eorder it was removed and clean with acetone or something to get all the viton off. the arp's are better after you use them as the have already been threw heat cycles and have a beetter chance of not loosening up.

Dunk it in paint thinner loose the rivets and spray it with copper spray and it's reuseable.

Tiiiight spraying each layer after I drill out the rivets or as a whole?
