The first thing that popped into my head before I scrolled down and saw the toilet paper roll, was 'that looks like a egr valve'

That should prove to you that I've been working on my car plenty!

My knock-off DDP has the same issue...

The vibration drives me nuts, and I put a dent in it to stop it with the old exhaust, but now the new exhaust fits right and it rubs again...

Eventually lol

Function before form, this is being done because I had some rust to take care of (so I figured I might as well do the hatch sills as well which is only a tiny bit extra)

But the hood and floor pan really needed some attention.

If this car had 0 rust, there would have been no stripping and painting!

So I paid just under $100 for a quart of PPG corrosion resistant primer, and the catalyzer...
Good paint is painfully expensive :(

I thought I finished my climate control as well, but for some reason, a few of the leds don't work, even though I made sure I got the polarity correct on all the leds :( So i'm not looking forward to debugging this one... i might just postpone it to some other time

The amber color scheme sure looks great though! With red hot and blue cold buttons, the camera does NOT represent the color well at all!

It looks so much better in person, I lightly sanded all the led's with 400grit sandpaper to diffuse the light abit better, the camera doesn't show it but it is so even!

I don't mind the green display...

Maybe when I take it out to debug the non-working leds, I might get a new display

My To-Do list has a majority of the items knocked off the list, except for the ones that involve the most work :biglaugh:

The painting has begun, the first two pieces are primed:

That won't even cover the sand paper and tape...

So I'm a little disappointed with how the paint came out, but it's purely due to my shitty 'paint booth' and contaminants floating down and embedding itself in my paintjob while it's trying to dry :icon_evil

These photos actually make it look better then it is lol

The ladybug is nearing completion...

All the paint is done (for now) and the reassembly has begun
Don't mind all the mess from wetsanding the primer

After I put the nose on I realized I'm probably going to have to take it back off to put the bumper on... I don't remember lol

I worked on fastening up all the IC pipes, had a bit of an issue with the factory cast elbow that ETS supplied a bracket for... I ended up having to make my own bracket after about an hour of frustration :icon_evil

I also started plumbing my power steering cooler (factory oil cooler)
