Oooh, sounds purty!

So when I order the 206 in 2-stage form (2 stage just means the color needs a clear coat, right?), the ruby pearl is seperate?

I dropped my suspension today for Buckshot, and my AC condenser and lines for IJ. ;) Still plan on removing the brake booster and clutch master cylinder

I'm gonna be late to work so I'll upload the pictures later!

I love all your sounds.
The color will have the ruby in it already. You can do it with a quart (it will be 1.5 quarts when you add the reducer.) I did the underside of my hood too.

I used one quart of clear as well. That only gets a pint of activator.
Plan to use all of the clear you mix, as it's pot life is a few hours at the most.:)

Cool, thanks for the tips Buckshot :)
So You're still Ok with me stealing your color code, right? ;)

Sure Kyle, I'll take out the B.B and M.C. for you, whatever makes you happy :D

Maybe so, but my engine bay will be alot cleaner ;)

After this month is up and all the bills are taken care of, it's time to pick up shifts and scrape together the money for some paint!

Tomorrow (today) I plan to finish off the last couple of items in the engine bay, and then go put those parts I got form Toyota to use and get my engine closer to being ready!

Hide the dirt? Most of the dirt has already been washed away, and the rest will soon be gone... no hiding here ;)

Got some work on my engine done today, Intake mani on, started on the vacuum hoses, fuel lines, and wiring :)

Also removed the headlamp motors, brake booster, and clutch master cylinder, They were both alot easier to take out then I expected! Except some difficulties with reaching those damn nuts up under the dash! Awkward angle, especially the clutch master cylinder far left bolt!

Tomorrow I'll do some cleaning, do something about the 2 remaining lines, brake and clutch, and then get to masking!

Yeah I remember that, the picture is incorrect ;)

How did I apply it? With my hands :D
Just put 2 revolutions of teflon tape in the same direction as the threads

You mean ready for the head? =P

Just abit of silicon on the part that goes into the pump (with the jamb nut), and 2 rev's of teflon tape on the part of the AN adapter that screws into the block!

The AN side of the fittings that actually connects to the hardline, needs no sealant

So I decided to just go ahead and do what the great IJ. has instructed and just strip the rest of the bay, including dropping the entire front axle / power steering rack!

Also got rid of the moulding below the window, the water dam screens (if that's what they're called), wiper assembly, hood latches, other things I'm forgetting... It's getting pretty close!

All that's really left is a couple of stubborn fuel lines... maybe it's a good time to just drop the tank and install my Walbro...

Ha, ya right :)

So the dissasembly work is done, and I've gone about 20x further than I had initially planned! I'll take another picture when I'm done sanding and masking!

But for now, heres a teaser... this picture took about 25 tries to get any flakes to show, pics cannot do it justice!
