When you order a connector like that you only get the body right, not the pins?

I edited my last post with the cars the two styles of alternators are listed for.

Toyota usually has the option of purchasing a "repair" connector. It comes pre-pinned with wires so you just have to solder or crimp them together.

Okay, I found the clip off of a Camry at the junkyard, if anyone is doing this swap and needs it just PM me and I'll give it to you. I also picked up Q45 Throttle body for $25 :)

I think he gave me a hookup, considering this is his first 2JZGE manifold, and I'm going to refer more NA-Ter's

I am saving up now for my 2jzge-t ..... are you still going to run the 7m electronics?

I think so... I don't think I can afford propper engine management quite yet.. I'm almost there. It will always be run off the 7M wiring harness tho.. I'm almost done with that BTW, I just gotta do some tapeing.

so wat did u have to change or switch to make the 2jz functional off the 7m electronics? i know the CPS is one where there any other stuff like the oil pressure sending unit, knock sensor etc.

you need to do some grinding and cutting on the CPS, first of all.. to make it fit. This way you can use the stock ignitor, and coil pack. Coil packs will need a custom mount.
Switch over temp sensors from the 7M (ECU and gauge)
Switch over 7M Oil PSI sensor
Switch over 7M knock sensors
Switch over 7M injectors (can run stock 440's without piggyback)
Use stock O2 sensor, or wire in 2JZ O2 sensor. Either will work (with appropriate clip)
Use TPS plug from 2JZ wiring harness
ISC is the same
7M or 2JZ starter will work- use appropriate clip.
Use alternator clip from 2JZ wiring harness
Use 7M AFM, or Lex AFM w/ 550's. (if you want to keep it simple.. should suite your goal easily)

Legnthen/shorten harness where appropriate.

My starter didn't require any wiring changes, did yours?

UPDATE:

FFIM came in, routed IC piping, ran coolant lines, and fuel lines, and I also finished up some wiring.

I would be able to have the car running very quickly, but I decided to go ahead and buy the EMS Stinger. This is def going to hold me up consdering I don't know exaclty how to wire up a standalone :)

I'm thinking I might go with a motorcycle battery which will fit in the stock battery location even with the FFIM re-routing. If I make it easy to remove I can put it on a float charger and have it ready to go whenever I need it, without the worry of it dying (not my DD). Opinions?

dang, that looks nice. wasn't it not too long ago you were asking about using 7MGE electronics on a 2JZGE? you work fast!

As for the battery, have you checked out the Braille battery? www.brailleauto.com

Thanks man, I've really fallen in love with this idea. Even tho I had a pretty decent 7M setup making good power I did my research and I just really wanted to go for this. While I've decided not to go with the 7M ecu, I've decided to keep the 7M wiring harness and run the stinger EMS. I really hope it works out alright.

Those batteries are exactly what I'm looking for! Except I believe that they've just taken an inexpensive product and marked it up incredibly. We'll see if I can figure something out in my now non-existent price range.
