For a brand new upper oil pan for the 2JZ at toyotapartscheap.com is $281.91 if anyone else is interested! I went by part number so I know this is the right part.

Also, would any of you know if the upper oil pan you can buy off of toyotapartscheap.com is a rear sump oil pan? The illustration pictures it as a front but that wont work for the supra even tho it says it's for a supra!

Can someone explain the difference between the the front sump oil pan and the rear sump oil pan? If what I'm thinking is right, I have the front sump and why couldn't I use that?

I was thinking of doing that but it didn't seem like the nut would lay quite right up against the block but I've also got no knowledge backing me up on this so I don't know how much it can take before it brakes!!!

Yeah, I really didn't think anything would happen. I just changed my parents oil and they freaked out cuz it was like 1 quart over!!! So, they made me make sure nothing would happen.:3d_frown:

That's all I see with domestic cars! They shove more gas in to get more power and then they laugh in everyones face, where as, we put turbos on our cars and get the power without losing the gas mileage!
