smoke only appears on cold start. and it appears on hard acceleratin. like if im racing someone. then at idle, it will smke for alittle bit till i drive off. this is at idle. i looked before and after turbo for oil and found none.and not sure what chra is.

hella good deal on your end!.i noticed what seems to be the power steering resevoir relocated to the passenger fender, does the power steering work great? because of it being gravity fed.

heres the smoke. did a compression test, cylinder1-160 cylinder 2-5, 145 cylinder 6-150 is it safe to say its not a bhg? and that its the valve stem seals or maybe valve guides?

could be a defective heater core also. had it happened to me once. but also check you have all your lines tight and orings not torn.

just wandering where people locate there powersteering resevoir? ive got a intake that id like to put on, but the resevoir is in the way.

as of right now currently. im taking the head off. i dont think the head gasket has ever been done. it has 127xxx miles. the coolant level is good. well not no more since i took it all out.lol. but i did take the accordian pipe off and did see a tiny bit of oil on the lip of the turbo. tiny bit...

smoke is whitish. happens on cold start,hard excelleration, and neutral. i havnt messed with my pcv system. just in other searches, in topic to smoking, people were mentioning pcv hoses not be connected. either to accordian or elsewhere.

so after reading other post about pcv issues, i think i want to say this could be the reasoning why my car does what it does. yes i put the tape over. i figured i didnt need the open hole there, so i covered it. im guessing thats why my car may be smoking out the exhaust? or yes it could be...
