Studs are studs and nuts. They provide better clamping force.

Bolts are just bolts. There also easier to install.

Block threads should always be cleaned and chased. For studs you need a bottom tap(dm has them) and you need to make threads for the last 1/4 in or so that is not threaded at the bottom of the holes so the studs can go down as far as possible.

Yes big difference lol but like they said bolts are rosier to use but some say studs are better but either way arp is a great bolt or stud use either one

Holes are threaded all the way down (far enough for the ARP's) the last 10>15mm of thread has never seen a bolt so is usually corroded/glooped and this is what the chaser removes, a "chaser" is very different to a Tap as it doesn't remove material, get it wrong with a Tap and you end up with a sloppy hole and no one likes a sloppy hole ;)
