so im looking for a good local shop to take my m3 into.
just got a hks tubo timer and hks electronic valve controller and not sure how to hook them up.
nor would want to even try to.
i live in olympia area.
unless theres someone on this forum that would be willing to do it for a price.
so i just bought this all for 240$
brand new,never been used except for the 2 REAL hks bov
a neighbor of mine was gettin rid of them dirt cheap and just came over and asked if id be interested.
and for the prices, i couldnt say no.
the only thing now, is how to hok them up. minus the bov...
i saw this, and i have a ebay knock off ssqv also.its been installed now for about 4months. well anyways, it dont make the sound anymore. is this why i could possiblt be having the issue as wolf?
so i think im going to go with piston rings. its blowing white smoke all the time at idle. im guessing i just dont see it while im driving bc of the wind jus dispercing it. so i guess this means rebuild! which i am not really looking forward to doing.especially with it at 127k.

also to note, it did blow some white smoke b4 i put the new 3in turbo back ex. system. but now, can
smell the oil coming out
so i was told, that i was loosing oil out of my exhaust.
i was loosing oil. or can say i am still.
he told me it could be one of two things, valve stem seal, or piston ring.
would like some help on what to do, or what should i do.
symptom:
white smoke coming out of exhaust on intial start...
i did only dyno it once. i will be doing more in the future. its free at my college since im in the program. when i first looked at that torque number i thought it was off to. especially for being nearly stock..but this was the results performed. dont kno how and why these numbers are this way...
i never messed with the psi. and my gauge in the inside reads 7ish. mite read like 8. but not sure if thats nrmal reading. it was done on mustangdynameter
