so in previous thread, i had smoke,being oil coming out the exhaust. so, i went ahead and changed the valve stem seals,and also did a head gasket job. it still smokes on hard accelleration,but not as much as it use to. today was the first time i got to drive it again after doing the head...

so i know its silly to ask, but for some reason when i look up firing order, there are 2 repspones. 153624 and 163245 which one is correct?

how long do i need to wait after i put rtv on those 2 spots? i put it on, reassembled everything, and then started. still getting oil out that hole. do i need to wait for a day or so until the rtv is cured? and then try to start?

yea it was that. i undid the whole exhaust side. had to because i had to get to the headgasket for something differant. thanks for the help

im leaning more towards the oil hose. i took it off and it was pretty wet by it. looks as if the gasket was bad..as of right now i have to rtv the 2spots where the block and hg meets. so ill let you know.

so to the left of the dip stick hole, there seems to be a bolt missing. im believing oil is coming out of that as its wet around the whole area. but its wierd because it seems as if the only way a bolt would come of that is to take the motor mount off. i never messed with the motor mount. the...

and so not putting rtv in these 2 spots, will cause oil leak from previous picture?

correction, instructor was saying the crankshaft seal. so i went ahead and ordered, hopefully itll be here tommorrow didnt use any rtv, not sure where your talking about with the "2spots". really not a big fan of rtv also.

so just got done talking to my automotive instructor at my college, and he says he thinks it could be the oil pump seal. i just think its wierd that it never leaked oil, until i did my head gasket. has anyone done this seal before? and should i also change the oil pump?

i know you say with head on the seal, but i did mine without and it was 3.75 per valve. was about 70 for the whole thing, i supplied the parts. it seems like no one wants to mess with those with the head on bc the cams have to be taken off. i actually had a shop, yes a shop turn me down. but...

where can i get a an adapter? and also, what vaccum hose do i put on the afpr? or can i just cap it off? is there a part number?

ok. and also, where do you want your afpr set to? ive got 560cc injectors. with the lexus afm.

just wandering where i hook the afpr up to. if anyone has pics that would be great. not sure where either line goes also my afpr does not have a gauge, so how do i know how much pressure is there?

took head off.and took it to machine shop meanwhile... replaced injectors with evo 8 560cc and new clips.
