drove it and hung out at my mechanics house and him and an owner of a 05 gti were upgrading the stock turbo with a KKK K03 and installing an AEM water/meth injection kit :D

Cinched up my exhaust at the test pipe, mounted and ran the wires for the wideband and the EBC into the cabin, bolted down valve covers, filled with oil, and primed oil system....then found a leak (turned out to be my turbo's oil feed line). Made an extension pigtail for my TPS connector and wired it in, remounted ISC and PCV piping, and mounted the BOV in the flange...then discovered that it's too loose. Now have to remove it (impossible with shitty Harbor Freight snap ring pliers) and figure out how to seal it better (thicker O-ring maybe?).

Yesterday: Mounted turbo and got the hot-side IC piping finished and mounted.

Drove my car to Cheyenne, WY and back over the course of about 28 hours this weekend. Put around 500 miles on my car, which is about 4 months worth of normal driving. Didn't miss a beat, and managed 25mpg, which is pretty awesome considering the elevation climbs...

I can see getting 30mpg out of this car. :)

Fixed a leaking radiator drain plug and got some schmutz out of one of the pins of the window button. The passenger window wouldn't roll up from it's button.

Yesterday: Finalized mounting of cutoff switch, put new oil feed line on turbo, mounted radiator and hooked up hoses (have to take back out though to mount probe for fan controller...D'OH!), primed oiling system, put front of motor back on (timing covers and crank pulley), scratched my head on alternator tensioner (Sethron just put me straight with that though), filled trans with gear oil.

Today: Vacuumed the car pretty thoroughly (mice used it as a playground for about a year), wired up EVC, put shifter boot back on, got shifter height sorted, and moved the t-handle from my old shifter to the new one.

Haven't done the vacuum lines yet, just did the wiring -- ran the extension harness through the firewall the other day, and finally plugged it in at both ends. Wasn't difficult, I ended up putting the EVC in the map pocket under my stereo; drilled a hole in the back of it to pass the connectors through.
