im just guessing here but i dont think you can block it off. whenever i put my finger over the line running to the accordian hose it just dies. i believe what the ISC does is leans the fuel mixture up at idle. someone please correct me if im wrong though
just so were clear you use a 5mm allen wrench to screw the stud into the block FINGER TIGHT then drop the washer on to the stud then the nut which uses a 12 point 14mm deep well socket. and yes the cams can remain on

at stock boost i dont think you have much to worrie about. i ran 10 on the stock gasket and bolts and eventually blew the hg only after i installed and tuned my map ecu
get some sort of fuelmanagment if you plannin on runnin higher boost else your AFR will get all kinds of jacked up and youll just be dumping way too much gas in the engine
im not saying that you wont hear anything, your bound to here something its pressurized air escaping through a relitively small opening. try turning up the boot its a big difference.
if you pulling teh engine you should really pull the radiator. for one it will give you more space to work with when you acctually lifting the engine out and second youll most likely bang it up trying ot get it out. theres nothing really nothing to it, a few simple connections. just wait...
