thats what i thought i have a SSQV atm vent and it just shuttered a little at stock boost, no loud noise. start playing with boost it will get louder and you might even hear a little pop and watch you temp guage spike, that when the fun will really start:cry:

isnt stock boost 5-6 psi? with a recirc fitting, the stock air box and low boost it would be damn quiet. but yes check the vacume lines it cant hurt

i had a crazy paint job, red with blue flames goin down the side oh and to top it off a brite yellow bumper, it wasn't pretty but i was proud my first car painted by me!

has the same problem, it turned out to be an intake leak. start the car and listen for a hissing. also a can of starting fluid can help spray in area you suspect the leak and you engine should rev up slightly
