Runners are 304 as well. 321 SS only has to do with its "Rockwell Hardness" it is a bit "harder" (more dence) which has little to no relevence when used as a turbo manifold. Believe me, 304 is PLENTY hard enough as is! I really hate dealing with it, as a machinist it dulls any type of cutting...
