ok so I cranked the engine and still noting. pulled the No.1 spark plug and it was coated in fuel. I verified that the No.1 piston is at tdc when the crank is at 0*. Then I plugged the spark plug into the coil and I can still see it sparking! is it possible when retiming this engine to have...
No I have not. I was About to but then I got to thinking and it really makes no sense that it wouldn't be at tdc when the crank is at 0 degrees. In like an hour I'll just check for kicks a giggles tough.
hmm...I'm surprised to hear so many people have had trouble unbolting the arms. my body has over 230k miles and I just stuck a ratchet on there then basically stood on it. The bolts came right off. this is probably because the car has lived in the desert all its life and doesn't have a single...
coolant would sink to the bottom so if it's as black as he says I'm sure what we see there is a reflection. if that much coolant was mixed in it should be all milky.
It would help if you explained the smoke more. really white, or blueish white? when does it happen? at idle? when its cold? once its warmed up? during boost? after boost? on deceleration? how much smoke? be as specific as possible or probably better post a video.
I did check that the wires are intact and its plugged in. I suppose I could test the sensor just to make sure, but I doubt that's it. My multimeter is at school so I'll try to borrow one to poke around in there. In the meantime any other suggestions?
FIXED!!!
ok this is the stupidest crap ever and I have no idea what was wrong with it. all I did was pull off my ic piping and sprayed a crap load of starting fluid in the mani. I cranked the engine and it started up really poorly (misfiring and stumbling really rough). so I hit the gas...
by reverse clipping you just mean that the turbine is a lot smaller then the compressor? I always thought it was the other way around. a big turbine with a small compressor made faster spool. I definitely could be wrong though. why don't you talk to your builder about it, I'm sure he knows...
hey guys,
so I want to know why my wheel moves like this. the wheel bearing is obviously really bad, cuz the body have 230K+ miles on it. I had the car aligned over the summer but it has recently began to pull hard to the left. the driver side wheel bearing had to be replaced when I got it...
I used Meguiars once and I was so happy with the way my dash looked, till my dash split right above the gauges a week later :-/ don't know if that's what did it but it seemed fine before that.
I cannot speak for the Ronnie K but I put on the Energy suspension this past summer and I'm very happy with them. it makes a noticeable difference even on the stock suspension. just my opinion but u hope it helps.
well sorta my idea was to just do thin headlight, sorta like on the cherry widebody, so they just wouldn't have to pop up. rather then having half the light covered. I just feel like the front of my car looks kinda empty.
ya I hope this is a typo because this would mean no fuel pressure. The car shouldn't run this way at all. Pressure builds up everywhere between the pump and the fpr so the fpr should be in the return line after the fuel rail.
I'm 19 and still on my parents insurance, I forget what they pay for me as a driver, but I pay the difference of adding my supra. for liability and towing its $68 every 6 moths. But that's from USAA and they give out tons of discounts for stuff like: you get a credit card from them, open a...
ya I've seen flush mounts, I've seen the sleepy eye style, I've seen the nsx retrofit, I've even seen z32 headlights on a supra, just nothing quite like the z31. anyone else care to chime in?
I personally really like the look of the z31 headlights and was hoping to find somebody who did a similar set up on a supra. I couldn't find anything though. so does anybody know if its been done?
