I believe it could be. my brother in law has a TT300zx and it used to have a very bad tune. it was idling around 10-11 no joke. anyways after leaning it out it was much more responsive and felt alot faster.
Hey I don't have a lot of advice for you, but one thing I do know is that you want you're low rpm AFR to be lean. close to 14.7 as you can get it as I understand. having really rich mixtures inhibits turbo spool. so it should be pretty lean till you hit boost. my personal opinion would be to...
I believe you are talking about the turbo MAF (first picture), not the NA Maf (seccond, left one). I'm not pulling from any automotive myth's I'm pulling from my fluid mechanics class. any obstruction in a pipe will effect the flow especially if it changes the diameter of the pipe. that's the...
false. you are putting a plug in your piping, a plug that moves, but still. any friction from the maf opening, pressure differences and turbulence caused by the reduced in effective pipe diameter will directly contribute to flow losses.
ya its really simple, if you can't pull the bumper off on your own you should probably not try to mess with the inter cooler or piping. just take a loot at it.
hey I accidentally fixed it! I plugged some vacuum leaks and now it runs smooth all the time. I don't know if this will be the same for you since it's a 7m with a MAF not a MAP, but I would definitely start looking for leaks. I hope that helps
to be honest its not going to matter at all. have you seen the MAF on the NA supra's? it's a solid metal door held shut with a spring. That's where your restriction is, it wont matter what filter/intake you have on.
different lug pattern. 112 not 114.3, but mostly we're getting married june 22nd so I don't have money to buy tires. they would look really good on the supra or the 350z. if I can't sell them for a good amount I'll get some adapters and rock them on one of our cars.
My fiance's 350z blew a tire so I started looking on craigslist for used ones. came across these and bought them to steal the tires. I got a really good deal on these! I'll probably be posting the wheels for sale if anyone was interested
My car does the exact same thing. I thought it was normal. I have a 1jz with full 3" exhaust, no cat. sometimes when I boost then shift it shoots flame out the back. I'm also running really really rich though.
just opinions I guess. I don't think any picture or video really captures the 430 right. seeing them in person is very different. also I don't get the back seats thing either. maybe they're for groceries because it has a shoebox for a trunk.

no I don't want a 300. I like the supra a lot better. I want a 430 because they're super classy. I just think its a really pretty car and it wouldn't really be for racing (thats what the supra is for). convertible hard top ftw
So I was kinda thinking in a couple of years when I'm out of school and have money I might want an sc430. then SURPRISE! supra!

ya, I think what I did IIRC is just hit the top arm bolts with a hammer and they came out easy then used that bolt to hammer the lower ones out. I'm not say it was easy like unbolting a fender, but I don't remember at any point thinking there is no way I'm going to get this off.
ok, I don't think it could be that either because I switch the clips around on the coil packs so that No.6 lead was on No.1 spark plug and No.5 lead was on No.2 spark plug. first I cranked with the coil packs on the mani to ensure they were sparking, they were. then I put them on the spark...
