    VPC hooked up wrong. wrong VPC chip. VPC not outputting anything. check codes, i'll bet you have any number of the AFM codes.

    buy a new ECU.....a NA ECU is all of $50 here or on ebay. again, the FIC is NOT a standalone....i.e. you need your stock ECU to control timing, idle, etc.

    if you're running the Q45 TPS, chances are it's output isn't the same as the stock TPS....so the ECU has no real way to accurately measure load. any AFM scaling affects timing.....but you have to make some serious corrections to get that sort of effect.

    sure, but if the MAFT pro's output is capped (i.e. Foutmax) it won't make a bit of difference. sure. mkiiitech = read only.

    eh, it's no real problem......provided you have someone that has a clue doing the alignment. i prefer to do them myself....i just have to pay for the time on a good alignment rack.
