i was about ready to close the thread....but these posts begged approval...
of course the AEM does it...this is the PIGGYBACK forum.
no AEM for the 1J.
try reading post 16......heck, trying reading what you posted!
actually, the sus design IS what's in question here. in a double wishbone setup, the chassis is not performing nearly the work it would in a mac strut setup....that's the reason you see the braces make such a huge difference in those apps.
eh, this one isn't worth my time. suffice to say that to be legal for MOST racing you'll do (90% of those considering a relo would probably be for drag racing...so see NHRA rules), it's much more than just slapping an optima in the trunk. when i say "complicated" i'm referring to the average...
oh i totally agree. it's not that i don't like it....it's just a different sort of beast. i have to worry about scratching it, etc. in some ways, that takes away from the fun...
sounds great! hopefully you can withstand the desire to give in to the "pretty" factor!
eh, i've sort of given...
it totally depends on HOW you want to do it. do you want it to be legal for any sort of racing? then it's complicated. sure you can just run a wire back there and zip tie the battery in place.....but that's not the best ideal. don't forget, even an optima can gas....
