What I've done before the timing belt is in place and after the oil pan is on, is turn the oil pump shaft with a drill with a couple quarts of oil in, it will prime the system. :)

    No Spark for my 7M-GE

There is only 2 wires that go to the starter. The hot from the baterry and the one that goes to the selenoid. The grouped wires that look like they could go there are grounds attached to the manifold. I just posted that in the other NA/T thread.

    Thrust Bearing Install

If it's only the #4 cap then I would really check it out, the bearings, the backs of the bearings, and the caps. If it spins a little better without the washers you still have a problem with the cap or bearing. Are they the standard or oversize washers? Do you have end play on the crank?

    Oil still leaking

I believe you're suppost to put a "dab" of RTV in the corners of the front cam caps also. So it may be were it's leaking, if you skipped that instead of the seals themselves.

    ARP install help!

Check the TSRM, there is suppose to be some clearence in between the washers, don't recall what is is. But it should spin freely with those in. I assume you used assembly lube or at least oil to install the bearings and washers. Did you plastigauge your bearings? You have to torque the caps in a...

    ARP install help!

He's talking about the mains. The #4 cap if that's the one that has the thrush washers have grooves in them for the washers to set in. And yes metal shavings and the hard turning of a crank is NOT good. It should spin freely. Could be the bearings are not sized right. Did you at least...

    Post BHG - No start

Lot of things could be wrong and yet it could be one simple little thing that could keep it from starting. If you are sure the timing is right, the cam gears on the marks, #1 on TDC, crank pulley on the mark, and the rotor pointing at #1 wire, I'd check all your grounds, trace your wires to make...

You can also log your runs with a laptop and tune accordingly. Very happy with mine and have just started to get into all of the things you can do with it.
