Shawn Cassidys (sp?) car.. 9.99 or 9.9x i believe. Was extremely consistent, running low low 10s all day long. Very well setup car those guys have! :Big thumb:
Victors car only went a 10.6 @ 138 iirc. We didn't get a good launch or run the nitrous down the track before it broke the diff. :(
My...
Ok maybe a driveway isn't a proper explination of the hill. Its ~ a 30* angle. rises 4 feet in ~ 5 foot drive. Even a stock car cant take it straight, you have to go side ways. Suspension fully flexes and the the targe car twists. You can hear it. The hardtop does not. The creaks dont really...
1. ~ 17-18 psi it maxes out. Stock Fuel cut is ~ 15 psi though
2. No you can not use a VPC. They're specifically tuned for each car and there is no ROM for a JDM ecu.
3. No there isn't
4. JDM is probably similar to the USDM ecu in the timing area. It hasn't been tried, but it can probably...
Do what I said. If you dont hear it, you're a lier. I've owned 3 targa cars, and been in 10+ on the same driveway, and they all do it. Only ones that haven't are the hardtops.
TPS input, unfortunately AEM doesn't have a 2th input for load on gear selection map, everything is based of TPS. It might be a little crude, but should work fine.
Heres a pic of the mkiv basemap.
Take both cars and drive up a driveway (with a steep incline) at an angle. Hear the targa creek and twist vs the hardtop take it fine. Thats enough for me.
What logic is needed? just switching a few solenoids on and off for change gears really. We dont have to control the Line pressure with a solenoid or anything like the mkiv, just 3 wires (2 gear solenoids and lockup solenoid).
By eliminating the ect I can controll the shifts/downshifts...
I had the same manifold, ground the Manifold flange down some and fit a 90* and ran my oil return. It fit fine.. Ill see if i can find my old pictures.
an old pic before I switched to a braided w/ an fittings.
Your car will run like ass with no o2 sensor. With only a .6 bar spring you should be fine. I'd still turn the fuel pressure up to stock since you have no Idea what the A/Fs will be like and leaning it out without knowlege of where its at isn't very smart.
Change your plugs and gap them down...
On the large connector to the ignitor theres a little flap you can open up. There will be a long wire in there (most of the time its green) pull it out and put your timing light onto that wire.
How much boost is the car running? I would turn the fuel pressure up to 45 w/ vac off and try...
Who carese what AEM Says. I mean wire up the auto ecu (2 Solenoids and lockup solenoid) to the ecu and have the aem features control it. Its possible with the software, and looks like the ecu should work on it fine (just uses standard outputs).
