This is no different then the Nightpager kit (without using OE Parts)
ARZ is obviously a better quality kit (2 peice rotors etc), but this is a single peice rotor with an adapter for willwood superlight calipers.

I say you have faulty fans.
When I wired my FAL fans I used the stock fan relays & wiring. They're just sitting there not being used (I assume unless you took it out), why not utilize them.
Wrong, 1jz hydro fan units are a single nut with splines on it. 2jz Turbo & non-turbo are 4 studs w/ nuts (similar to the 7m).
Are the splines on the Waterpump stripped as well? if so you have some problems.
Run the higher compression, just keep the boost around 15 till you get the standalone and can dial it it in. I wouldn't go more then 17 psi on 93 with that compression (I like to be conservative).
