I'm gonna rev it to the moon!
I forgot to take pics of my Eagle rods, but you know what they look like. Big thanks to Rich from Summit Performance for the super fast shipping on the rods!!!
I'm going to go with a set of custom Arias forged pistons for this project.
The crank is still...
I can get the same thing from one of my importers. I got one and tried it out, but it didn't even come close to fitting correctly. It was at least an inch and a half too tall though (the hood would get dents in it and the radiator damaged). You would have to cut off the lower mounting brackets...
I have a box of about 60 shims, we could trade. Figure out what you need, and I will trade straight across. The shipping would only be about $5 because they can go in an envelope. LMK! Measure them in inches please, that's easier to figure out and measure.
Until you drive a 1jz, you just can't understand how much better it feels. The weak link is people who think just because their car feels fast and they have a few miles on it, that nothing could be better or more reliable.
Unplug the Stinger harness, and check for 12v on the red wire with the ignition on. If you have voltage there then check the ground connections. When you say it doesn't power up, do you mean you can't read from the ecu with the laptop? Also make sure to jumper all the shield and ground wires in...
I just got another car running with a Stinger today!
The first 1jz with a 7m ignitor? I think maybe it is.
I modified a 7m harness with the correct connectors for a 1jz, followed my 7m wiring diagram for most of the wiring at the ecu connectors, and hardwired the Stinger harness to the...
Cool, so as soon as they send out checks to pay for all the engines their piece of shit injectors blew up, and the new injectors come with flow sheets, and the new injectors are sent out as free replacments to the people who got fucked the first time around, then I will consider Venom. Until...
Aerospace and aircraft are assembled by professional skilled workers with expensive equipment and almost unlimited resources, not people who can barely drill a hole without it being crooked. Coarse taps have taller threads which gets more into better aluminum in the head. I know fine threads are...
Usually you know you're in trouble when the stud comes out and you can't even see any threads because it's just covered in aluminum. 10mm helicoils use a 13/32 drill bit, but 7/16" uses a 29/64, and the larger diameter hole gets your new threads tapped into more solid aluminum.
