    I've always assumed it's a filter.. and just read they can act as a dampener as well.

    Steering boss - what to get and where?

    I'm running HKB x80 IIRC with a circuit sports quick release.. allows me to get in easier at times, little better security, and it put the wheel another ~100mm closer to me. If that isn't enough, the steering column is telescopic.

    well, that would require removing the dash.. I think I'll fill the cracks with something and then use the closest color vinyl spray and fade it in to match. A wrapped dash would be uber nice though, no argument there.

    yeah, I'm not a big fan either, but I'm also not proactive enough to replace the entire dash in order to remove cracks.. I'll figure out something clean and effective though.

    ^ I would venture to say most of what you said could contribute to crank walk or at least increased wear. In theory it would flow near the same as a stock 2J head (friend just did 940rwhp non-ported 2J head with 280s) so long as it's ported etc.. but yeah, it's definitely easier/better to go...

    Such an improvement over the last set of wheels IMO.. It looks amazing now, show stopping quality. The more I see of your car however, the more I realize how hard it would be to pull of the ABF sideskirts and rears without serious fitment and a well thought out front end.

    I was watching my brother mess around on Forza 3 today, and I noticed that they looked very similar if not the same. on another note, it does wonders for the rear lines of the car—looks great.
