most folks with a 1J would never need one.. from the reputable guys I know that made decent power on 1Js and 1.5Js, the stock manifold will flow to about 600-700hp (as hvyman stated) before it needs to be upgraded.. if your goals are beyond that, well then I can see the reasoning.

pictures can and most likely will eliminate a lot of the miscommunication here.. post them.

+1 my setup is similar aside from using a ZoonWen mani vs. the Drewgo (very similar).. I have also bought tons from DM, but this setup is probably the best you can put on a 1J. Credit goes to Pituala, after seeing his results I couldn't see using anything else.

2ZZ coils win.. but again, standalone is needed. your only other option is Superspark replacements.

be careful, along with common sense, vibrations such as those can actually shake things loose on the chassis (not good obviously). After going through some interesting issues with my car, I still have some small vibrations around 90ish, but I've given up on fixing them for the moment. However...

At meets, the car garners more attention than most other cars from any era.. I was even more shocked when it received far more attention than the Skylines (GT-S/GT-R) at a particular "tsunami relief meet" I attended (500 cars or more IIRC). There was one point when 3 photographers had cameras...
