You must have lucked out and got some German built ones, I ran an 044 and an 040 in tank using a converted Propane tank so 1/4" thick full of foam and baffles and it still sounded like coffee grinders!
LOL I look at it as if it's all done correctly I "shouldn't" have to go in there again so fiddly/pita is ok, having said that I did have to go back into mine! ;)
You can always do the "Ship In a Bottle" thing and not have to open up the hole, this is how I install the 2x 400's in my Surge tank, connect all the wiring/hoses but don't put the clamps on, lower it all into the tank and wiggle the parts in then do the clamps up.
Don't know about there but here there is always an "End Construction Zone" Sign up, until you pass that the Speed Limit is in force no matter what.

Damper may have slipped it's ring, Put a chopstick in #1 and bring by hand using a wrench on the damper bolt it up till it stops then look at the TDC mark.
Keep in mind Toyota Induction hardens their Cranks so it's quite shallow, you'll have to Niteride/Heat Treat the crank afterwards and this gets a bit expensive.

Been saying this for years a True 500rwhp "Street Car" isn't "easy" or cheap.. huge difference making 500+rwhp once on a dyno to having it as a daily driver that can back it up time and again without failure.
