    Rear BBK anyone?

As I recall, the prices were near double despite being new, and since the Evo IX isn't that old, I figured I didn't need new calipers. As luck would have it, mine were damn near brand new. Prices have since dropped a bit (~$50), but that's still $90 more than what I paid shipped. But yeah, if...

    Brake master cylinder reservoir

The bad news is that the complete Aisin unit from the Cressida with ABS (1-1/16" bore) is discontinued.. You can only get them remanufactured with ghetto reservoirs because Toyota/Aisin discontinued the factory reservoir. This is/was the sought after piece that Dr Jones used to sell, and it was...

    Brake Lockup/Drag Racing Application

Driftmotion rebuilds them and apparently does a pretty good job. I'd get mine rebuilt just for peace of mind in this particular situation.

New bearings, washers, and oil pump to provent crankwalk?

yep, as others have said: don't run a pressure plate rated over 2800lbs (especially when it's been documented 1000x that it's horrible for the motor) and disconnect the clutch safety switch. Also, the bit about oil pressure after sitting for awhile isn't a bad idea either, but then again there...

    Brake Lockup/Drag Racing Application

I'd recommend the T100/4-runner unit because its beefier and will assist with better pedal feel. They are also widely available.

    Rear BBK anyone?

I thought that would be possible originally, but it doesn't create enough clearance unfortunately.. Mine still made tons of noise when the hub deflected in a hard turns, thus machining the rotor is the only way. That said, I LOVE my BBK setup with these rears. It is pretty much badass haha.

    Rear BBK anyone?

It will still foul all sorts of noise on the bearing back plate unless the STIs rotor lip (located on the back side) is machined off as well..

    intercooler pipe question pics

No problem. Also, remember to either weld a bead or bead-roll each intercooler pipe's end to make sure they don't blow off; t-bolt clamps are a good idea too.

    Brake master cylinder reservoir

if the reservoir is dirty, imagine the condition of the internals... replace the master cylinder or remove it/rebuild it and solve all current and future issue in one go.

Tinted or JDM Dark Cherry Taillights? Best way to remove tint?

rub it off with acetone (it will take you a few days), and then buff them.

    intercooler pipe question pics

Always do single piece pipes on both sides if possible.. It can be a pain in the ass to take out and put back in due to this, but it aids in fewer points of failure, especially when you have higher power levels. I followed this advice and have had no issues, and I use standard 4-play couplers...

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

I have 10.5+30s, and they already stick out a bit, but with camber I'm able to barely manage a 275 with a flat roll. +12 is gonna be popping out pretty good I think, but with the right camber and stretch (if that's what he's into), it can likely be done.

What are some recommended yet affordable Injector brands?

yeah, such a huge difference........ if a person is looking for a fantastic way to throw away a ton of money, then go for it, but you can have the same injectors for 1/3rd the price if you just buy from Bosch/S.D.

    Few side skirt questions

Low profile steel 2.5 ton here, and my car is fairly low.. It barely gets under the diff, but it has about 2" or so of clearance to the jacking points up front.

    Few side skirt questions

I have the Shine Bomex replicas. They generally dont fit very well, but for the money they are just fine. You have to trim them and fit them to the car before painting and attaching them to make sure they are good to go. I adjusted mine solely with a zip-disk and some sandpaper. You can attach...

Best clutch fan combo for 1JZ swapped Supra's?

yeah, it's a GTE blade, so it wouldn't be ideal unfortunately. I almost bought one the day they were released actually until I realized the same thing..
