Damnit! I saw that you made some and it took 2-3 weeks for build time, and i can't have that much downtime cause my mechanic needs my car out of his shop so i went ahead and ordered some from driftmotion earlier. Oh well, maybe in the future.
This is what happened to my headgasket a week or so ago. Least, thats what my mechanic believed happened.
Had a custom made 2mm cometic stopper w/ arp studs and it let go @ 18psi on a 57 trim ct. Head/Block were checked and stuff when the headgasket was put on.
Whats your input on these?

Only set i can find.
So the 89-98 supras use the same mounts? well 89-92 for the 7m, and 93-98 for the 2j. Also, if i get solid ones and im still using my 170k mile stock suspension bushings, how bad is it going to be. What should i look into? Poly mounts for a 98?
Does anybody know where i can pick up some 89+ poly motor mounts for the 7m? I can only find 86.5-88 poly mounts and solid mounts, cant even find places selling 89+ mounts.
Thanks
Ij, im going to print out that pic and show it to my mechanic.
From what you see, would you personally use the gasket or would you send it back to HPF and ask for another?
see this is the route i was thinking... not sure. really waiting for ij or jj or one of the experts to chip in.
off to classes, ill be back on to see what people said later.
thanks for all the help in advance.
So continuing from my other thread, where i was asking about the rivets on the HKS headgasket, mine arrived today and i took pictures so you guys could show me what exactly needs to be removed. I really dont want to mess up this headgasket.
Heres some pics (Not sure if its front of black to...
Well, im going to take a picture of the gasket when i get it. Does anyone happen to have a picture after the rivets have been removed? I just want to make sure i don't mess a $350 headgasket up.
I dont believe the block has ever been decked, but only the head. Ill talk to him and go over this with him when i go out to the shop tomorrow. Thanks a lot everyone.
Ill update this as i figure more out.
So ive read about a rivet that had to be removed from the HKS Stopper style head gaskets. I got mine on the way and i was wondering if anyone had a picture of what rivet there talking about. I will post a picture of my gasket once it arrives. Also, do not use copper spray with the headgasket...
driftmotion can normally whip up a rebuilt ct26 within a week and have it shipped out. Its 510 for the rebuild or 650 for a new rebuilt ct26 (50,54?,57 trim) sizes available.

I remember reading a quote in someones sig
Boost = resistant to flow
flow = power
Dont think of it as high boost
That was the quote, aka just because hes boosting 14psi and hitting fuel cut doesnt mean anything, hes still flowing just as much air through the engine as those who are hitting it...
Didn't feel like reading through the whole thread, but with my TMS downpipe, and blitz nur spec catback, the testpipe i had was actually too short. I couldn't tell you the difference if i was trying to bolt it to the stock cat, but with the TMS dp and a 12" test pipe its like a inch or so too short.
Just to go ahead and give this thread some closure, i bought a oil filter sandwich plate that im using to install the oil pressure gauge, and im using the stock Gauge Cluster Coolant Temp Sensor location for my aftermarket gauge location.
Thanks for everyones help!
So get an adapter that will go into the Instrument Cluster coolant gauge sensor (Whatever thread that is to 1/8 NPT) and ill be good?
Thanks for the help guys.
Do any of you know what the thread style is for that?
EDIT: As for the charcoal can, and having it set up how i do. Is the only...
