Hey Scotty, i was looking at the intercooler piping that was attached to the GTE, did you buy that or did it come with it?
Just curious, because it looks to be the same exact kit i have.

Thats the one i...
Same as him haha
I think what sets it off so nicely is how its blacked out (alternator etc.) but then you have the nice shiny aluminum piping and such. That engine bay is inspiring.
The exact reason i wouldnt put it on that side of the thermostat.
Thermostat fails and doesn't open, your temp gauge isn't going to know untill its too late.
I used the tapped area that the sensor for the gauge-cluster water temp gauge, since i replaced it with a aftermarket no need for...
Looked through the build, car looks great. The theme on the inside is great, only one thing i could think of though.
A black center console cover / black e-brake boot would really make it look clean.
(Especially since yours are worn anyways)
But man car looks great! Wish my supra was this...
a quick translation in google
"q someone tell me where can I obtain the corners of the clear signs and orange half of 89-92 supra believes that only came in europe and I'm from Puerto Rico ....."
I think he wants the euro turn signals?
My cam journals are horribly shot, (You can look at my other thread called how did this happen), and they dont have any hones small enough to fix the journals.
So the GE and GTE heads are the same, - the intake cam?
I was just told today by the machine shop that my head is unusable. Im trying to look for a GTE head, but will the GE head work on the GTE block? What are the differences? Im trying to find a GTE head locally but its not workin too well.
Dirty assembly... The shop that did my HG last time didnt really clean SHIT up. My mechanic now has cleaned the shit out of everything. I wouldnt doubt it if it was bad assembly on the prior shop that did it.
Oh well i inspected the turbo to make sure it wasnt a piece of the turbo that chipped off and hit it and it looked fine, granted its a newer (3-5k miles tops) ct-26 57trim. My old ct-26 might have caused this, cause it had some bad shaft play side to side and it might of rubbed and sent some...
Yeah, the rest of them are damn near perfect, just regular wear. Still trying to think of what it could be... What did this guy mean?
Does he mean the tip of the compressor blades rubbing when people use the oiled K&N air filters? If so, mines a dry flow apexi.
I got boost/wideband/egt in my a pillar, then i figured oil psi and water temp would be the next 2 smartest to replace, then ill get oil temp, possibly fuel pressure... not sure.
Oh one thing i forgot to mention, this is ONLY on the intake side, and only on the first 3 saddles for cyl 1-2-3. The exhaust cam and saddles are 100% fine, as the back 3 of the intake cam. My mechanic says he thinks something might have got in it and spun around in them or something.
