Anyone ever use a clutchnet disk?

Thanks poodles, but I'm aware of all the things you've stated. I'm just wondering if anyone had experience with these clutchnet disks.

Anyone ever use a clutchnet disk?

http://clutchnet.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&category_id=10072&page=shop.browse&Itemid=140&limitstart=0&limit=25 There's too much stop and go driving where I live, so I want to remove my Spec Stage 3 6 puck clutch and drop in an RPS Max PP with a full face clutch disk. Need it to hold...

    Bic ddp

I wouldn't think so with factory intake and exhaust, but you may be cutting it close with that turbo. Every car is different. I've heard of member's rides hitting boost cut as low as 9psi and and some going over 12psi before boost cut. You can always get a boost controller in the future if you...

Did small burnout and now transmission won't shift into gear while engine is running.

If you look through my signature in the first post, you'll see my mod list. I'm currently running a Spec Stage 3 clutch with 6 puck disk. I do run the stock fluid filled motor mounts but I also have the BIC motor and transmission braces installed. Why would you think anything in my build is...

Did small burnout and now transmission won't shift into gear while engine is running.

Looks like I'm leaking trans fluid from around the input shaft too. I hope it's just a seal. Can't really deal with a trans rebuild right now. Beginning to regret running so much power on this thing.

Hopefully not. Both A Techs at my work believe it to be just the throw out bearing. Won't know for sure until I get around to pulling the trans.

Did small burnout and now transmission won't shift into gear while engine is running.

Removed the inspection cover and saw no damage, at least from what I can see. Put the car in gear in the air and it didn't make nearly as much noise. I could see the throw out bearing jiggling around, so that's toast for sure. Gonna pull the tranny this week and check for damage to the clutch...

Did small burnout and now transmission won't shift into gear while engine is running.

That makes sense that the cluch is stuck to the flywheel after a burnout. What I don't under stand is the noise and the shaking when gently releasing the clutch pedal with the trans in first gear. Is it because it's not able to slip for smooth engagement? What about the metal-to-metal noise...

Did small burnout and now transmission won't shift into gear while engine is running.

It's strange and I really wasn't very hard on the clutch at all when this happened. 3 second burnout in 1st gear and then I quickly disengaged the clutch and shifted into neutral when things got a bit squirrely. Wondering what damage I did. Won't be able to get the car in the air to pull the...

New source for direct fit driveshaft carrier (center support) bearings

Which center support are you running? The V or M type?

New source for direct fit driveshaft carrier (center support) bearings

Doh! Looks like I ordered the wrong one. LOL Greg from driveshaftparts.com just emailed me to inform me that the original bearing I ordered was most likely wrong as they hardly sell any of them compared to the newer style and told me to double check my setup. Climbed underneath and sure...

New source for direct fit driveshaft carrier (center support) bearings

Mine just went out on me and I've been searching everywhere. Looks like the dealer has come down in cost quite a bit ($165 for V-type), but I was finding no aftermarket support as far as a diret fit option. I just came across this site...

The age old problem: too much noise/vibration

I did notice a decent amount of vibration reduction after the secondskin was applied. This could be due to me applying it to both the interior and undercarriage. You will probably have better results with asphalt based mat due to its mass if only applying to interior. However, you can't beat the...

Tokico is bankrupt, and question for TEMS owners.

I'm running Tokico Illumina 2's and eibach and can easily feel a difference between TEMS modes. I'm using the HKS TEMS controller, but that shouldn't make a difference. The feelings between soft and firm are night and day for me.

Can the power steering pumps front seal be replaced without removing the shaft?

Thread resurrection. For some reason, I'm leaking fluid from the front seal again after maybe 500 miles since it's been replaced. Does this mean the shaft is gouged somewhere? Time for a new pump? Can there be something else wrong with the system causing excess pressure buildup and the front...
