How to lower my ride right

After "modifying" any suspension components shouldn’t a good alignment be done to make sure it all still drives strait? Also a side note, I have noticed a difference in the Pre-89 and 89+ ride heights, I have my 89 next to my 87 and its a big difference. Granted now I have the 1UZ in...

V8 1987 Toyota MKIII Supra 350 Chevy Engine Swap Update With Pics

Not bad, got a nice little project there. A friend of mine is doing a LS1 in his 87 Targa car, but he is planning on using the fuel injection and a T-56 tranny. We got the engine almost ready to go in.

Nice, looks very good. You should definitely follow up on your set up as a whole when you get rolling with no issues.

    89 supra build

Looks good! I just picked up a 89 a about a month ago and have been playing around with it, same car just about. NA Auto Targa, but mine doesnt have the white package. I wouldnt jump the gun on scraping the engine untill you pull the good parts from it. Anyway, what plans do you have for it?

    Small town car shows

There is a local weekly meet/car show near me that is all domestic for the first few hours, then the imports start filtering in as the domestics filter out. I my self have not been to the import version, as I would leave when they showed up. There are few respectable imports in my area, its a...

    Starting build soon

Look over your wiring harness, there may be some exposed wires near the sharp bends, and I would say its a safe bet that a lot of the conduit has dried out and is starting to crack apart. If you plan on replacing the conduit I suggest picking up some High Temp Wiring Loom from this place...

    MKII rad fit in MKIII?

When I picked up my 86.5 the previous owner had a MKII radiator in it, it worked fine, the two top mounts worked, but the bottom didn't have one of the two rubber isolators, and since the rad cap is on a elbow, it would hit the insulation on the hood. It ended up tearing the insulation...

I hope this hood is still in the works, I have had a messed up hood on my car for to long, this would be perfect for my end vision of my car.

Found this in the Junk Yard

Hi all, took a trip to a local pick and pull and found this "gem" I remember seeing a pic of a new 1989 Supra with the same stuff but it said "Rob's Supra". It also has the polished fender flares, if the stuff wasn't in so bad shape it would be a neat thing to grab, but I figured I would share...

    Operation Daily Driver 1uzfe 88 MK3

Looks real good! The engine bay is coming along quite well! What did you do for a brake booster? I will look into running that FPECU for the 1UZ this weekend, I should have some time. I just picked up another 1UZ to replace the one in my car. This new one I have seen run so there is...

    My new 7MGE

Nice thread you got going here! I allways admire a good 7M-GE build. I have the same HKS exhaust, got it with my 86.5, I had a test pipe on it as well, and yea, it was very quiet but sounded great. I have the same intensions as you with it, it is looking scratched and a little beat up so I'm...

    Steering Wheels...what are you using?

Here is mine: Its a MOMO Super Indy made in 1987. I picked it up on eBay from a guy on a base in Japan, I don't know the diameter off hand, but its smaller than a 89 3 spoke wheel, and it weighs next to nothing. It took about a week of daily driving to get used to it. At the top of the...
