Chambers Build Thread - "Daily Eighty-Seven"

Had some time to put some stuff on the car. Also went over the "swap harness" in the engine bay, originally I had planned to wire it correctly, but when I had problems getting it to start I reverted back to the "common" way. I have corrected it today, now the ECU controls/ is...

Got another update and some videos: Finnaly I have a box in my center console!! May not mean much to many, but I have never had one that didn't have the door ripped off. Now for some vids, went into town today and had my camera, so I figured I would try to get some footage of it...

Been another long awaited update, quick summary. Got the Mustang 5.0 manual steering rack in and got tie rods connected. Its not quite how I envisioned it, but I'm happy with it. I also got the tranny and drive shaft in, then had a buddy make me some down pipes, and then the whole exhaust...

    "Pre-89 Shine Air-guide" thread =0) NEED 25 COMMITTED BUYERS!

I think I like it, here are a few quick photo chops, can I put down my name twice, because I may buy two:naughty:. But really, if these will "bolt in" without the use of glue/adhesives/tapes then I definitely will buy two. 1. the t3d 2. Toink 3. IJ. 4. rmjsupra 5. Enraged 6...

retro-spec raised cowl hood 1st pics of development.

I like it! As for the radius of the slope, I think it should be smoothed out a bit. But for my future plans with my project, a higher cowl will make more room for a twin scroll supercharger sitting on top of my engine. Also, any chance for windshield washers to have a home on the hood? I would...

Carbon Fiber Hoods made on the east coast feeler thread

I might be interested if the hoods had a few things, if they had provisions for the hood struts, washer nozzels, and had rolled edges, I think I would buy one. Event without the washer nozzels holes, rolled edges are a must. I went to a a local CF/FG/CK dealer, I think the warehouse was in...

Yea, they would be surgical towels, but they actually came out of a dumpster, another friend of mine pules out thousands of bran-new stuff, still in the wrappers out of that particular dumpster, you wouldn't believe how much stuff gets thrown away there!! Thanks! I plan to take it to a...

Ya Thanks! Got the engine to crank from running a new wire just like we discussed! I ended up "re-doing" my wiring to just focus on getting it to run, I will be trying to get everything to work like factory soon! But, yea, it cranked for a few seconds, and BAM, it started, and it ROARED...

Exhaust - fuel lines, EEK, very close, so I picked up some high temp shielding from Summit to protect the fuel lines, just haven't installed it yet, and have since devised a slightly different route for the fuel to run, you can also see the Black Velvet high temp paint from POR-15 on the frame...

Chambers Build Thread - "Daily Eighty-Seven"

Well got A LOT done from my last update. To do a quick summary, painted the engine bay with POR-15, set the engine in, wired it up using my "swap harness" and then did some adjusting to my wiring, and BAM, it started, sorry no first start vids, but what ever, there will be future vids to come...

    Another 1uzfe mk3

You would need the rear sump pan and accessories from a SC 1UZ-FE, so just getting a SC 1UZ would be a easier starting point. As for engine mounts, you have a few options, you can make swap brackets (bolt-on) or you can do one off mounts, or some combination of the two. Solid mounts seem to be...

    Na-t questions

The oil pan is the same, but if your going to pull the engine, then why not drill the block in the factory local for the oil return. Its not just one hole though heres some info, there was a good pic there, but its gone now. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89550 Good luck!

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

The pre 89 moldings will form with proper methods, since the main internal structure is metal, but it is very easy to mess them up. I haven’t tried to form them though. I would guess the 89+ would conform easier, with little to no modification. Good luck!

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

Hi all, I have a wheel question: Will a 16x8 with a 0+ offset fit on the Supra? From what I gather, it will be very tight or not fit on the front, but may fit on the back. Can anyone confirm? Also, is there any down side to running a larger rim up front with a smaller in the back?
