If your tach is jumping then the ecu thinks there is RPM even when there is not, That is why it is firing the injectors fix your tach problem and i bet you will fix the other problem.

Simply changing pulley size will do nothing. The regulator will simply increase pressure to compensate for lower rpm. It would be a larger pully on the pump or smaller on the crank.

Any standalone will need touched up when Modding. Aem will need touched up everytime the weather changes, and forget altitude changes. Proefi uses the same fuel tableing that OEM computers use so weather and altitude changes are no problem. It takes spittle longer to setup I'm the begging. Good...
A lot of the hate tuners are giving proefi is purely political. The owner of proefi designed the aem v1. He made a lot of people mad when he started his own company.
