Vacum from the intake goes to the vsv unit - The little square electrial unit at the bottom , Into the port facing towards the drivers side. There is a small hose that comes out of the bottom of the vsv unit nd plugs into the top of the bigger round cannister/valve thingy.

GEt A Greddy BCC if you want to raise boost. SAFC-II WILL NOT get rid of the boost cut like everyone is saying. The BCC will help you raise the boost, but make sure you have a tune done at the level of boost or have a wide band meter to help you monitor the afr.

Look at it this way - If an SAFC-II can support 500 Hp easily, why can't a EMU? Emanage is a step up from the SAFC and will give you more control when equipped with injector, ignition & a/f wire harness. I am going the Emanage blue route myself and just picked up the full jumper...
1st picture : Looks like the water lines for stock turbo? trace it. The stcok piping may be disconnected but still left there.
