Updated: Pics on post #28. Billet turbo with SP Quick spool valve.

I've ordered an SSAC 321. I will either have to modify it to be undivided, or build a riser to serve that purpose, or both. There is so little choice for tubular 7M manifolds. I was hoping to fab up my own downpipe but it looks like I need a $3000 machine just to friggin tack weld stainless...

Tuning out stalling problem with SAFC

Would be nice to find a way to use the SAFC to improve the stumbling/stalling problem. Even when my BOV is recirculated it sometimes stalls. Can't figure out why after lots of reading, testing for boost leaks, etc.

    7M - GT35r turbo oil & water lines?

For the water line to the top water neck, it appears that it would be the highest point in the cooling system(see pic below). Isn't it important to keep lower than the top of the radiator to avoid trapped air? Any reason why I couldn't just tap a new npt fitting into the side of the housing...

    7M - GT35r turbo oil & water lines?

I've been searching, but can't seem to find this info. I'm assembling the parts I'll need to install my GT series turbo, and I'm trying to find out all the sizes of the water and oil line fittings. I've got the specs for the turbo, and it looks like I'll need the Arizona Perf. 7M -10 oil return...

2jz mk3 Buddy takes my car for a ride with his bros.

Amazing. I'm hoping I can achieve just under your power levels somehow with my new turbo! What gear is that starting off at 1:03? 3rd? How do you find the cruising/idle/driveability of the AEM? I'm torn between the PnP 87-88 AEM $1250, ViPec$2250, and Motec$4000+, which is what John Reed...

Bolt-on Turbonetics shined up and installed *Pics*

Thanks for posting! Do you happen to have the sizes handy for the 7M water/oil lines? I'm just about to order the lines for my new turbo setup.

    New 2010 GT500! I want one

+1 about the Dodge truck comment. WTF are they thinking? I've always loved low and wide cars. Seems everything these days gets taller and more narrow. Looks bad.

    35W HID Vs. 55W HID

I just bought a pair of TSX projectors, and will try to install them into my current setup (see signature). I chose these because they are one of the most compact, which is very important with the limited space we have. Also, they are pretty much sealed already. I will simply use high-temp...

WB in and now a quick AFR Question:

Worried about being in the 10's? 10 is richer than 11. 11.5 is a good number though.

    MHG Bore?

By the way, Supra90gr, Grimjack charges $15 per post when helping people. You now need to paypal him $60. :D J/K HKS seem to be the most popular. Although my car came with a Greddy 2.0 and it has held up under some severe knocking when a hick mechanic installed my timing belt once tooth...

Dual walbros, going lean at 1/2 tank...

I thought Zazzn's problem was his 647rwhp pulling so hard it's pushing his gas to the back of the tank and starving the pumps?

The spool valve and its flange are stainless. Yep. I'm the guinea pig noob for this combo. By the way Ian, were you running LPG and way more torque than normal when you had those traction problems?

^^^My poor-flowing stock head and big tires may thwart that problem for now...! One thing at a time!

My goal is minimum lag first, then very good top end 2nd. My current upgraded CT26 hits 15psi at 3800, and that's as laggy as I'd prefer it. Like IJ's V8, I don't want to have to wait for big power :)

Talking about the SP valve? I can dyno it with it open, then with it closed. Overlay the 2 graphs, and where they cross is the right time to open it. Should show the spool gained.

Here they are. HTA3586r, and the SP valve. Just need a stroked, cammed 2J and I'm set! :biglaugh: The only divided T4 hot sides to choose from were a .84 or 1.00; I went with the .84. Compressor inducer is 62mm, exducer is 86mm (4mm bigger than a GT35r). I've seen pics of the GT35r compressor...
