Meth injection, nozzle on intake manifold or intercooler piping?

I can see how it would be cooler spraying further away, but isn't most of the cooling done as the piston compresses the air mixture anyways? Isn't that when the huge heat is developed, super compressing the already 22-25psi air?

Good to hear you went with the ACT XTSS. I'm still loving mine, it's still baby smooth like stock, and it's held 503 rwtq as well as several burnouts and heavy driving ;) . I SURE don't miss the annoying jerky chatter and shuddering of a 6-puck.

Found a nice review of our supra

I recall test driving a stock turbo Mk3 in the 90's when I was thinking of buying one. It seemed incredibly fast compared to my Mk2. Now I find 350hp in a Mk3 slow and boring to drive. Go figure! "The brakes were firm, strong and nearly fade free" ... I guess he didn't used them aggressively...

DECELERATION - Clutch ENGAGED or NOT?

Does the engine cut fuel completely on decel? I've never heard about this. It seems he only bothers to chime in to imply that he knows while others do not...

DECELERATION - Clutch ENGAGED or NOT?

Same here. Except when I'm doing repeated hard stops I'll use engine braking to put a little less heat on my brakes.

    Base timing values

Makes sense. Guys running E85 fuel get more power because they run more timing. I run 94 octane and water/meth injection so I have lots of headroom to avoid roasting my stock pistons :) When dyno'ing my car at 22-24psi we experimented, and ended up dropping down to 8* base timing for the best...

Check it out, quality shave and color change...Body work is finished!

Nice results. However I recommend only using your PWM circuits to dim your LED's and not run too much resistance to dim them, because you will run the risk of uneven lighting between the arrays/groups of LEDS, as some LEDS may emit more or less lumens at currents too far below their recommended...

    2008 Supra MKIII - Project 1BYDFALT

    Suspension feedback for mk3 coilovers?

I felt the same way, and I ended up selling mine and buying Tein Flex's. These combined with whiteline sway bars give me both great handling and a comfortable ride. I also run the EDFC for adjustable ride quality. The spring rate of the SS are 100% stiffer than stock, while the Flex's are 50%...

    arizzle's 92 teal project2!

All your hard work is paying off, it looks like you've now got a fast, beautiful car! Be sure to put a small zip tie on that fuel AFPR vac line, because if it pops off under boost, your engine will go lean. You'd better zip tie ALL your vac lines. I found that the stock vac lines really start to...

    VNT and VGT turbochargers

Pretty cool. It's doing exactly what my SP quick spool valve is doing, only in a much more complicated way.

    arizzle's 92 teal project2!

You can use that controller, but I recommend wiring in a separate relay and bypassing the internal one. The fans draw so much current that the terminals unsolder themselves form the circuit board. Happened twice on mine last summer. Do it now or risk overheating in the summer!

    arizzle's 92 teal project2!

Are you using the Flex-a-Lite brand control box thermostat? They are garbage, and fail easily. Mine left me stranded twice before I wired in a separate relay.

what else do i need? getting ready to turn the boost up a bit

To hit 350-400hp you will also need at least a 57-trim upgraded CT26, and an SAFC with tuning, and maybe a clutch to hold that power. I would limit it to 15psi and 350hp with careful tuning if you don't have a MHG. Get the MHG if you can afford it(which will require surfacing BOTH the head and...

SP Quick Spool Valve dyno results

Ok, I bought a Hobbs brand pressure switch to control my SP valve and it's working much better now. Spool is crazy fast, even in 2nd gear it hits 15psi around 3500 and spins the wheels. 3rd and 4th hit 15psi by 3300 rpm. I can tell it would be better controlled with a standalone and possibly via...

    2nd gear launch?

Are you talking on the track or street? On the street I was forced to use limit 1st gear boost to 11psi to avoid spinning my 295 BFG KDW's. My AVCR boost controller lets me choose the boost for each gear. Poor man's traction control, but really handy!

I also have the S3 shifter, it is pretty sweet. I've compared it to Nashman's shifter, and Nash's shifter has an even shorter throw than the S3, which I assume would require a bit more force to shift. My S3 has developed a bit of play in it over time, but hasn't got any worse. I seem to remember...

    Great deal on tirerack.com!!!

Amazing price. Those were BFG's flagship performance tire. My set of 18"s was over $1000 for 4 from tire rack a couple of years ago. The handling is awesome, and hooks up power on the street really well.
