For those running stock mounts, I suggest to just buy a BIC poly dampener. I've been pushing 430-475hp for a while now with no vibration and minimal engine movement on my original '87 engine mounts. They are also available for 89+
I actually tried to light up the center section, but found it impossible to remove the silver paint from the inside of the center lens and have it be clean enough for light to shine through cleanly. Not only is it very difficult to remove the lens itself, but I ended up destroying 2 of them...
If the problem only occurs during ECU closed loop operation, but immediately ceases at open loop (wide open throttle), it doesn't seem likely to be AFM or plug related to me. What else could I try? Could a faulty O2 sensor cause this intermittent problem?
Ironically, my Supra's throttle linkage actually did stick open a couple of years ago, I had to turn the car off all pull over to jimmy-rig the broken linkage.
