Using a spectre here. They are pretty decent actually. I like mine. I have a AEM filter but it kept slipping off of my intake pipe, so I am not using it.
I used a scotch brite pad on my die grinder. I would do it differently if I did it again. I also accidentally nicked my timing belt, so I had to replace it too lol.
And just a little update, I believe I figured out my issue we had on the dyno.
I had my map sensor running from my AEM boost gauge on the 0-5v output on the gauge. It was picking up signal, but it was fluctuating quite a bit under load, and at cruise. It wasn't too bad at idle, but enough to...
Well, bad news. I went to the dyno yesterday thinking I had all of my issues fixed. I ended up having some stupid issue with my map sensor that we could not figure out for the life of us. It was fluctuating thought the power band. I ended up ordering another sensor, and will also wire this one...
The downside to dumping the gate is that it is loud, and covers up the nice tone of the exhatust lol. Besides that, there really isn't any downside. I have mine dumping at the moment but will be switching to a recirculating setup in the future.
Also i believe Mark87t is running a 6262sp bolt...
I found my pictures of the transmission rebuild when I was putting it back together.
This was the damage.
And getting it back together.
Billet 1-2 shifter fork
Billet bearing retainer
FIPG mess
All cleaned up
Bellhousing back on, and ready to go back in.
I don't remember what exact wax it is, but I know it is Meguires. If I remember it was kind of pricey.
Also a heads up for everyone, I will have dyno video up this weekend, and numbers as long as she holds together on the rollers.
I am not sure what your plans for your Supra are, IMO that is too much weight. If I wanted to rattle a car, I would go buy an SUV and throw 4 12"s in there.
On another note, I have my speakers and amp wired to four ohm, and my sub is wired in 2 ohm.
I have a 5 channel amp before I had a 4 channel amp and a monoblock for my sub. Sub is very responsive, and is very loud and accurate. It is about quality not the size of sub. I would take a 10" w3 over a 15" type R any day. IMO JL is the highest quality of audio that any local places sell.
Sounds like you may have a bad thrust washer. I am not sure about reverse, but I know first and second gear can pop out or not engage when any torque is applied when the thrust washer is broke. Thats my 2c.
it could also be your shifter fork for 1-2. If your trans is broke, if you decide to...
Actually was having rear alignment issues. We couldn't get it the adjustments enough with just the centric bolt in there, so I bought some camber arms. Now I have a perfect alignment, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
I do like them, IMO they are a good product. I have heard...
Yes it is. Black braided line. There is stainless mesh in it for strength, but it is under the black braid, and above the hose. I really like this line. Very flexible.
