will be running rotella t6 15-40 this year i believe is the weight.
Have ran many different oils in the past. i am a pretty big mobil 1 fan. 10-30 at first then ran 15-40.
I have royal purple in the engine now as it is a bit better with e85 than mobil is 15-40.
The 7m likes the heavier weight a...
First off I want to say I am all about sound quality over bass or anything like that.
I have always loved my infinitys. I used to be hard into car audio, I have had over 10 different setups in my truck, and finally stuck with my current setup. My truck has infinity kappa speakers all around...
I just recently got my bottom end back from the machine shop. I will be putting it together slowly, and updating slower most likely lol.
I had it machined at a local shop, if I were to do it again, I would drive over to Illnois and have SP take care of it.
I had the following work done.
bore...
Time for a small update.
I have changed my mind and decided to go back to a manual. So I picked up a build r154 with everything in it, and it came with a steel one piece drive shaft, along with a few other parts. I got a killer deal on it.
I also bought another act 6 puck disc, and a pressure...
I actually buy a lot of things from ebay. mostly pieces that are not movable like intercooler pipes and exhaust, or things that I already know what they are like brand name cams that are new or like products. I have had pretty damn good luck overall.
I used the lokar cable. much nice imo than using a different premade cable. also you can make the lokar the perfect length. I really love the way mine turned out.
Welcome. as matt was saying, I am one of the mk3 7m owners. when do you get your license reinstated? Always cool to have another supra out and about here. if you have your car out this summer you should come to des moines and join us for a few meets.
I think he meant spring, but yes this is correct.
You would need to have the internal wastegate welded shut, and add an external wastegate to the stock manifold and get a decent wastegate to run with it (say tial 38mm) it will flow exhaust gasses past the turbo easier so you dont have a spike...
When I was on a ct26 57 trim, depending on what i had boost set at it would peak out and then drop down at higher rpm's. its too much for the tiny wastegate, and if you have a shitty boost controller it could contribute to it some too. I had an ebay mbc on and it would peak out much worse, then...
How much power are you planning on making? You dont really need them unless you are pushing 900 or 1000. I bought em from titan, and They are pro gram main caps.
Some of us guys from the Des Moines area are trying to put together a street legal drag race event. This would be put on by the city with the help of volunteers and officials. We are trying to fill a petition for the city of Plesantville to show the support for this event. Please take a quick...
I bought a universal lokar cable. i think it was 36", i can double check if you are really interested. I cut it to length, and am really happy with how it turned out. Should be pretty nice snappy throttle response, and the cable travel is perfect
I would leave it. I have ran stainless line on my last two turbos and havent had a problem. I think you should be fine.
I have always used the premade precrimped lines for my oil feed. I have never had a problem with them. I only know one person locally that has ran an oil feed line that he had...
It is actually a long runner. At least from what I understand a long runner manifold is the actual individual runners. As in the pieces that run into the head. It is basically the same runner length as stock, and would be considered a long runner.
A short runner would be like this manifold...
