Yeah, with those offsets you will be out past your fenders and you will rub, sorry. Spacers will only make them stick out more.
If that is the size wheels you want to run, look at what Nate posted for a good offset.
A lower # offset will move the wheel out toward the fender.

For the most part, yes, my car is an 87 with 89+ trim. Only one problem, the rear center section between the tail lights, most just swap out for newer tail lights and center section.
What style moldings, 87-88 or 89+. I repainted my 89+ trim. I used urethane bumper paint striper to strip off the stock paint, I wanted the trim black, and after stripping them the plastic underneath is black, so I just touched them up with a light coat of black trim paint.
