    Jimi's build update

Dave- Sounds good man, you should get some pics up if you can. It wouldn't bother me if you did get the same rims. Good luck with the needles. Ben- Thanks, not even sure what I'll try to get done....I really need to just get out and drive it. I may pull the bumper off and start prepping and...

    Jimi's build update

Main thing on removing the pointers is to do your best to apply even force on the base of the needle so you don't bend the shaft or break the needle. And just go slow, take your time. Also mark where the needle was resting at so when you put them back on they are pointing at the same spot...

Here is my DD, 91 BMW 318is. Sitting on Ground Control coilovers and bilstein sports w/ Ground Control caster-camber pillow ball upper mounts, PowerFlex urethane offset bushings (super stiff setup). Rims are very rare "Throwing Stars" made just for the E30s and styled after the M5 rims. I know...

Thanks kaifiji, Thats pretty crazy with the dry ice air box. I plan on eventually running a CO2 spray setup on the IC. That is, if I ever decide to track the car.

With my intake/IC piping/FFIM/ 70mm TB and aluminum flywheel, my throttle responce is extremely sensitive, if that helps you any.

Thinking About Using Spray Sealer on a MHG?...Might Want to Read This

Just to add to this,(and a little off topic) when I was having my motor built I was having an HKS MHG installed, I wanted the info from the horses mouth on what RA was needed for their stopper MHG, so I called them. The tech I talked to told me that a stock RA was all that was needed for the...

    what coilovers do YOU have?

You will not be able to tuck with Teins. There is enough adjustment with the spring perches to, but the springs and shocks are too soft to tuck with. I would like to go lower but I can't dew to the softness. Here is a pic of the lowest I was able to go before scraping on most bumps and I've...

    what coilovers do YOU have?

I'm running Tein SS, too soft and bouncy for me. BTW, you get bounciness from the shocks not keeping up with the spring rate (ie: shocks not firm enough). This is one of the problems I have with the Teins, the shock adjustment only adjusts the bound and not the rebound, so once you match the...

    WTF is Bitron 4 Real?

Size for one, the one I mentioned has about a 12" diameter. All cages are plated with silver as to help cut down on cold start wear. The tolerances and precision that are used also add to cost. Some of the bearings are not like a normal bearing you would think of, to much to go into here, but...

    WTF is Bitron 4 Real?

What state is this Birtron in, in < 32* F temps and then what state is it in, in > 200* F temps. I've seen some of these additives turn into a an ice cube when put in a freezer over night (this is bad mmmK). There are extreme conditions that oil HAS to hold up to, the test in the vids is nice...
