Mine seems to resonate at 40mph-60mph. The vibration kicks in at around 50 mph. It goes away after 65 mph, but it's just annoying because I usually cruise at that speed.

I always kinda wondered why Toyota made it a two piece myself. I see allot of folks complaining about vibrations in the one piece then I see many say they have zero vibrations in their one piece. Kinda makes you wonder if who ever made the one piece messed up on the balancing. a One piece made with standard beefy easily obtainable chevy u-joints is what I would have made if I go that route in the future. Driveline Specialties in Southern California can make anything you want. They made my Z car driveshaft that had unreplaceble ungreasable ujoints that were welded in at the factory.

what we need, in my opinion, is a lighter weight 2 piece driveshaft. :)

Thats funny, I was waiting for a thread like this to pop up so I could ask if someone has ever done an aluminum 2 piece. Because that is what I'm planing on doing.

IJ's secret is he only buys his parts from old soviet T-80 tank surpluses.

His driveshaft is actually "weapons grade".
AAHAHA LMAO!

Anyway, my DS didn't appear to create any vibration on its own, just seemed to amplify whatever is wrong with the rest of my drivetrain.
