+How to: Ford TPS with stock ECU

Great info, Not to hijack, but to add to the info here, this is what I did to make the toyo TPS work with the same type TB. Pics say a 1000 words:

Haha, that was actually my first thought was the starter wire. The same thing happened when I went to crank mine the first time. I had knocked the wire loose routing all the vac lines.

    New Wheels!

The lower the profile of the tire, the lower the car has to sit to "look right", so the lower profiles in the rear make it look as if it is sitting higher. Personally I like the tire right at the fender lip, no gap, that way it doesn't look slammed but still low. I would love to lower mine a...

    Rosie attacks the second amendment

:biglaugh: Haha, but no I don't think EVERYone should be running around with guns. My only point is that when you start regulating stuff, it only regulates the law abiding people, and this will just give criminals that much more leeway on society. Thats the way I see it.

    Rosie attacks the second amendment

(I edited my post to include the forms) I have no doubt that you could. Hopefully you are never in that type of situation, and if you are hopefully the person decides to come in close.

    Rosie attacks the second amendment

Have fun with that if anyone pulls a gun on you from 10 paces out, or you come home one day and a dude has your wife and kids at gun point;) BTW I also train in 3 different forms of martial arts. (Isshinryu, Ju-Hitsu, and a form of ground fighting)

    Rosie attacks the second amendment

My point is, it is not going to do a thing for keeping guns out of the hands of criminals by putting any regulations on guns, you think they will some how follow these regs. All that will do is leave law abiding people with less means of self-defence.

    IJ's Rebuild thread missing?

You need not worry about that. Ian is a stand up guy, just because he is no longer posting does not mean he will blow you off. Remember he is in Australia, it will take a while to get parts to you in England.

    IJ's Rebuild thread missing?

Lets all have a moment of silence please  This sucks guys. I think Ian put as much work into this forum helping others out and what not as he did into his supra. I know you're out there Ian, looking down upon us from a higher level, you will be missed my friend.

    Throttle Body's?

Thanks empera, the threads are 1/8" NPT (autometer EGT), bought the thread tap at ACE hardware. With the TPS adapter, I would have to have the same type of TB you are going to use on hand, plus it's really easy to make :icon_bigg .

    Throttle Body's?

I made an adapter to allow the toyota TPS to work on the mustang TB, not hard at all. You can see some pics how I did mine here: Fab up work

    Some people seriously amaze me...

It's great when stuff like that happens. Last week I took the supie out for a spin, pulled into the gas station and had to waite for a spot at the pumps to open up. A preppy-well to-do guy in his late 40s or so hops into his new cute little VW SUV, So I start to pull into the open spot. As he...
