XP on my laptop and XP/linux on the desktop. i have used vista and i also am not feeling it. as much as i dont like xp, vista isnt any better.

i drove the last 2 years on my falkens and yeah they arent too good in the snow. if you take it easy its not bad. my rps 3200 last year was more of a problem than my tires were. :3d_frown: for the price it would be worth it to get a set to run in the winter.

yeah when i do my swap i am for sure using the redline tranny oil. prob gonna run it in the engine too. its goin in a 2jz in the northwest US. suggest a 5-30, 0-30? winters arent much of a factor b/c i wont be drivin it for the most part. but it only gets up in the 80sF in the summer.

i have never really heard of anyone running an aviation grade oil in there car. i work with it all the time in my job and have access to it. pretty amazing how well the stuff holds up to the heat and wear. would it be worth a try? or just stick to normal synthetic? this is what i got from it...

wish i coulda been there but, i only get to go home once a year. i cant go whenever i want to either. we will have to have another one sometime. maybe get everyone to work out a good date to do it on.
