does the motec log each run individually and put it in a history? like each time the car is shut off and started again? if so how many does it store? or do you have to have the laptop in to log anything.
lol, "right heres the downpipe for my turbo, right theres the drizzle." this is the pulley for my turbo. this guy is just wow!
edit* almost forgot about the VTEC head on it hahahahaha.....
so i am getting ready to start my swap so i have been shopping for gauges. i was wondering how many ppl are running out there? i am going standalone so i am going to have most the sensors anyway, so i figure i might as well get gauges. i was planning on replacing some in the cluster. this is...
i've done 2 vehicles this way. one was my step van i keep all my tools in (since i live on a military base and have no garage). i had maybe $10 in that job lol. 2 gallons of mis-colored paint at a paint shop $5. it was still white though. a couple rollers and some spray primer. it looks %100...
maxing out at 5 seems kinda low. i would check out the diaphram. adjusting the linkage on the diaphram might help. you could try "shimming" the wastegate also if that doesnt change things. just be careful if you do that. it just takes a little bit to tighten things up.
i was hitting 9-10 early. 3k maybe. its been awhile so i dont remember exactly. have you ever ran without the mbcv hooked up on that exhaust? so you hit 4k and your sitting at 7psi. then does it slowly bleed off to nothing or does it just drop down to like 5 or so?
first i would just see if you can move the diaphram with your hand via moving th rod or arm back and forth. it should have good tension. your running a boost controller on a stock turbo right? well the stock boost pressure should be in the 7psi range with the stock dp. so with a dp and exhaust...
are you still running the stock downpipe and stock exhaust? if you are then it sounds pretty normal to me. basically what is happeneing is that you are getting close to equal backpressure on your turbo. if there is nowhere for the exhaust to go, it will just build backpressure. that it why it...
well according to what i have learned, "lifetime use" is roughly 150k miles. as for the "zero maintenance". i think just b/c its a dy mesh filter it doesnt require the wash and re-oil such as a "wet mesh". i had a dry mesh filter, it didnt seem to get visibly dirty. i just washed it anyway. with...
yeah thats ohio for ya. no emissions testing but yet they can hand out tickets for exhaust. my close friend got a ticket there for excessive smoke from his diesel truck. stupid laws...
i understand how you got your name now.
come on now guys. everyone knows that with the rear end jacked up like that you get better gas mileage. b/c you are always going down hill. :biglaugh:
