well the easiest way to check cps- pull one of the plug wires loose from the coil pack and see if you are getting spark. even being off a tooth or 180* out you will still get spark.
id really look into that afm wiring as well, or even go as far as swapping to another afm.
the smoke is kinda...
also-
be sure this is all setup correctly:

no, that isnt the most recent version. they are up to 4.80 now. check mhopemk3's link to download as well.
the air bag is real voltage sensitive. i had a hair line crack in the ALT fusible link and caused the light to come on.
try to reset the code and see if it comes back.
reset is kinda tricky- here is a link how to do it.

you dont need it near the turbo at all. you can just mount it somewhere on the firewall near the alarm horn or somewhere around the strut tower.
you can even tap it off the vac line from the stock boost sensor (square box that says turbo pressure).
it is ideal if you have the line as short...
you can just relocate the stock cruise controls somewhere else.
here is the quick release hub a few people have used.

this is to monitor Vf. it is a diagnostic voltage so you can see how the ecu is adjusting fuel trim under closed loop. it doesnt have to be hooked up, but might be helpful to know what the ecu is doing.
yes these wires are for the wideband. you dont have to do anything with them. i would...
well i guess so. afc will read either just fine tho. and several others told me on the mpro either would work as well. i dunno, im just happy its fixed.
yep checked that just incase there was a break in the wire. that tested fine.
negatory ghost rider. in theory they should be the same signal and was told by others the same thing. and like i said the afc works on either. the mpro however, not so much. andy had his afc wired off the IGF...
well we ran my friend's rpm signal from his ecu to my mafpro and still no rpm. so it has to be something w/ a setup or the mafpro itself. any ideas?
also, i think im gonna go ahead and hook the yellow wire to G2 and set Fin to 20 again. i had it set at 20 but didnt have the G2 hooked up...
oh i thought i might add i removed the R7 resistor from the mafpro for the timing monitor. that shouldnt make a difference since its a pull up resistor for the afm but thought id mention.
mattjk- i'll ohm it out and/or try another wire.
