as promised! finally got the problems sorted! thanks to all those who helped figure it out.

best bet to rule out the whole deal is just swap it. there are plenty of people that have stock wastegates laying around. heck i might even have one somewhere. if you cant find one let me know. i'll look around for you.
i have one of these on my car. except i call it a turbo. it bends pvc any shape it wants and kinks it with no regard.
i think i remember you saying the wastegate was shimmed at one time. perhaps the wastegate arm is bent. and yes good chance of a boost leak as well.

it depends on the turbo size and addtl cost. some turbos i sell its an extra $600 or better for the bb. and for a small turbo i dont see the point in spending the extra money. some people are all about spool tho. they want small housings and ball bearings and anything possible so it will...
ok that was my question. then you said you didnt go wot (wide open throttle = 100%).
if that is the case you need to adjust your tps.
you might also try bypassing the solenoid (boost control) and hook the vac line from the turbo directly to the wastegate. then see what boost you are...

if you dont go wot you arent gonna see max boost. the parameters of the boost control on the mafpro uses tps voltage to base how the solenoid behaves and thereby max boost and boost curve. also, you arent gonna see full...

well to see your settings you have to upload your bin file. the log is just the values of the data itself.
the bog off the line is a known issue w/ the 4.40 version. you need to upgrade to a newer firmware.

it depends on how long you recorded for. but the ones ive done so far are anywhere from 69k to 1700k for a longer one. i suppose you could put limits on it like the others.
oh i didnt think about that. dont know how hard it is to add adl to the accepted files but i think it would be nice since there are several mpro users on here. a log file generally isnt that large of a file unless its like an hour log haha.
you record the log. then you name it and save to where you want. once you have the file you upload it here. if you dont know where you saved it just search the harddrive for *.adl and it will find it.
so long as you bought the solenoid and harness yes you can use the mpro as a boost controller.
its pretty tricky to get it set tho. what i would do is just run stock boost and get the car running well. then start playing w/ the boost controller feature.
jiggle around the cps wires while you are jiggling. the clips in the harness often become loose over time. would also take off the oil filler cap and make sure the cams are spinning when you crank the motor.
