    Okay, HUGE PCV lines and valve cover fittings installed. problem presists (but only at 20psi, non-existant at 15psi). I admit, I have yet to flush out the IC with gasoline. That's tonight and tomorrow's goal. if this doesnt do it.. I have a little less than a month before my turbo's...

    I shimmed my hood for summertime, I also removed the weather stripping from the top of the hood. That helped.

    Just to warn you.. my crank pulley was a pain to get off, my timing gear was even worse. I destroyed the timing gear getting it of. I also managed to pull the threads out from the crank pulley with the steering wheel puller. fortunately I got another one very quickly (thanks TONY!).

    peronally.. and this is just me. Gunmetal. as for cleaning, I'd use some aircraft paint remover and a brillow pad. I havn't done it personally, but thats probably the approach I'd take.

    yup, front main seal. I've done it once, and I'm about to do it again due to a PCV system that doesn't flow enough.
